Robert Ferri Investor Relations

Leigh Salvo is a communications professional with more than 25 years of experience delivering effective, comprehensive financial and public relations programs. Her experience extends from the IPOs of notable companies such as Ask Jeeves, CoSine Communications and Volterra Semiconductor, to investor relations programs for micro-to mid-cap organizations, to strategic communications programs for early stage companies seeking financing or acquisition.


Prior to founding the consulting firm Direct IR in 1998, Ms. Salvo was Vice President Communications for TCSI Corporation, a telecom infrastructure company based in Alameda, California where she held responsibility for marketing, public and investor relations. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Investor Relations for Merriman Capital, a registered investment bank. Ms. Salvo also served as Director of Investor Relations for The American Stock Exchange, where she oversaw the development and execution of investor relations programs for AMEX listed companies.

Prior, she held executive level positions with several large public relations agencies whose practices focused on the energy, bio-tech and high-tech sectors. Ms. Salvo’s background on Wall Street, as well as in corporate, agency and consulting environments enables her to offer her clients a broader perspective on the market and yields more effective communications programs. Ms. Salvo is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and has served as a Vice President, Treasurer, and Program Chairman. Leigh received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Trinity University.
